Agra

Agra, a historic city nestled on the banks of the Yamuna River in northern India, is one of the most iconic destinations for travelers seeking to explore the rich cultural and architectural heritage of India. Known worldwide for the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Agra is a place where history blends seamlessly with the vibrant culture of modern India.

Beyond the Taj Mahal, this city is home to numerous architectural marvels from the Mughal era, including Agra Fort, a magnificent 16th-century fortress, and the intricate tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, often referred to as the ‘Baby Taj’.

Best time to visit Agra for sightseeing and Taj Mahal is from October to March, when the weather is cool and pleasant, making it ideal for exploring the city’s historical monuments, such as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri

Avoid visiting during the scorching summer months (April to June) and the humid monsoon season (July to September), as these can make travel less comfortable.
